2. Research Use Only — Mandatory Declaration

All products sold by Switch Labs are classified as Research Use Only (RUO) compounds. By placing an order, you unconditionally confirm and warrant that:

• You are purchasing for legitimate in vitro scientific research or laboratory use only.
• You will not use the products for human or veterinary consumption, whether orally, topically, by injection, or by any other route of administration.
• You will not supply, resell, or provide the products to any person for human or veterinary use.
• You understand that these products are not medicines and have not been approved by the MHRA, EMA, FDA, or any other regulatory authority for human or veterinary use.
• Your use will comply with all applicable institutional, national, and international laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the use of research chemicals.

Switch Labs reserves the right to refuse any order where we reasonably suspect the above declaration cannot be truthfully made. Breach of this clause entitles Switch Labs to terminate the contract immediately, demand return of goods at the customer's expense, and seek damages.

3. Age Restriction

You must be aged 18 or over to purchase from Switch Labs. By placing an order, you confirm you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to cancel any order where we have reason to believe the customer is under 18 and to report such matters to appropriate authorities if required.

4. Product Information and Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, and Certificates of Analysis are accurate. However:

• CAS numbers, molecular weights, and technical data are provided for reference only and may be subject to minor variation.
• We do not warrant that products are suitable for any specific research application.
• Purity specifications represent minimum standards at the time of testing. Products should be tested independently by the customer if precise purity is critical for their application.
• Images on the website are representative and may not reflect exact packaging.

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT at the applicable UK rate (currently 20%) unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time your order is confirmed.

Payment is accepted by bank transfer, open banking, and cryptocurrency. Orders paid by bank transfer are held for 48 hours. If payment is not received within 48 hours, the order may be cancelled and stock released.

6. Order Acceptance

An order placed on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We accept your offer and a binding contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to: stock unavailability, suspected misuse, incomplete information, or failure to confirm research intent.

7. Dispatch, Delivery, and Risk

We aim to dispatch same-day for orders placed before 2pm Monday–Friday. Delivery timescales are estimates and not guarantees. Risk in goods passes to you upon delivery. We accept no liability for delays caused by the carrier once goods have been dispatched.

We currently dispatch to UK mainland addresses only. We do not dispatch internationally.

8. Returns and Refunds

Due to the sensitive nature of research chemicals and the requirement to maintain cold chain integrity:

• Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund, provided they are in original, undamaged packaging and have been maintained in appropriate storage conditions. You must contact us before returning any goods.
• Opened products cannot be returned under any circumstances, except in the event of a quality defect (see below).
• Quality defects: If a product does not meet the purity specification stated on its COA, or if you receive the wrong product, contact us within 7 days of receipt. We will arrange replacement or full refund including return postage costs.
• Return postage for non-defective returns is at the customer's cost.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of returned goods or acceptance of a defect claim.

9. No Resale for Human Use

You must not resell, redistribute, or supply any products purchased from Switch Labs to any person or entity for use in or on humans or animals. This prohibition applies regardless of the purpose stated by any third party recipient. Breach of this clause constitutes a fundamental breach of contract and may result in legal proceedings.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:

• Switch Labs' total liability to you in respect of any order shall not exceed the price paid for that order.
• Switch Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or misuse of our products.
• Switch Labs accepts no liability whatsoever for harm, injury, or death arising from use of our products for any purpose other than legitimate in vitro research.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and product descriptions — is the property of Switch Labs Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

12. Privacy

Your use of our website and the handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your purchase shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The version in force at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
