BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic pentadecapeptide comprising fifteen amino acids derived from a naturally occurring protein found in gastric juice. Its molecular sequence is Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val, with a molecular weight of approximately 1,419 Da. The compound is of interest to researchers studying the role of endogenous gastrointestinal proteins in cellular signalling and tissue homeostasis.
In cell culture studies, BPC-157 has been observed to interact with the nitric oxide (NO) system, modulating NO synthase activity and downstream signalling pathways. Research using human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and gastrointestinal epithelial cell lines has documented effects on vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) receptor expression and the FAK-paxillin pathway, which is associated with cytoskeletal organisation and cell migration in wound healing models.
Additional in vitro work has examined BPC-157's interaction with growth hormone receptor expression in fibroblast cultures, and its apparent influence on the Janus kinase / STAT signalling cascade. These observations have prompted further investigation into the peptide's role as a research tool in gastrointestinal and connective tissue biology.
BPC-157 is primarily used as a research tool in the following in vitro contexts: gastrointestinal epithelial cell culture, endothelial cell migration assays, fibroblast proliferation models, and investigations into angiogenic signalling. Its stability in aqueous environments compared to other endogenous peptides makes it a practical tool for extended cell culture experiments.

Excellent purity. The COA matches exactly what we observed in our own HPLC run for method validation. Dispatch was fast and arrived with cold pack intact. Will be ordering again for our ongoing cell culture work.
Used in gastrointestinal epithelial migration assay. Compound performed as expected based on published literature. Good packaging, COA was immediately available to download. Communication from Switch Labs was prompt.
Solid product. Purity as advertised. Would appreciate if the SDS was more detailed in the GHS section — minor point. Delivery was next day, very impressed.
